Standards EvidenceBefore I started my architecture project I had to think of ideas. I got inspired by when I went to Florida this year I went out to eat at a tiki hut. The tiki hut we went to is where I got my idea from, it was on a beach it was super cool. Then once I wanted more ideas I looked up tiki huts online and found the picture below. For our materials we used raffia for the top of the hut for "grass", we used popsicle sticks for the hut, mosaic tiles for the ocean and blue paint, sand for the sand on the beach, rocks to add texture, and then seashells for it to look cool. For trying new things we put modge podge over the sand and some rocks to make it look shiny. We tested the grass stuff on the hut to see if we liked it and we did. Artist Statement
